"I'm off then!" - I've wanted to write this sentence for so long. Now I'm going to do it.

For the next six months, I'll close my office and be unavailable for business. I'll be ... traveling on two continents... learning Spanish... meeting people....

How long is your list of things you've always wanted to do? And how many reasons have you found why you can't? Exactly. That's how many there were for me, too. After graduating from high school - quickly start studying - then first the education in TV - then the great job. In the self-employment still this and that project.

Why now? Of course, the last two years have been exhausting. Consulting in change and crisis during the pandemic took energy. Communication has to act and react faster and faster, there is far more information than one can process. Full calendars, structured days, to-do lists and deadlines.

Where is the time there for things to just happen? To be where you are and not mentally one step ahead?

That's why I'm stopping now. I am absolutely sure: This time will make me richer. I will think new thoughts, listen and look out. Maybe let go of the old and find something new. Let's see what I bring with me. Because this is also certain: I will come back, because I love my life here and I think my job is great.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my husband. He takes care of all my private obligations while I'm away. Without him, none of this would be possible.

I am looking forward to meeting the people in my network, my customers and all of you here again in October. I wish you a great time!
